Menurut <strong>Kementerian Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri (MITI)<\/strong>, pencapaian itu memperkukuh kedudukan Malaysia dalam perdagangan serantau meskipun berdepan ketidaktentuan global.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secara keseluruhan, jumlah dagangan meningkat <strong>3.8 peratus tahun ke tahun<\/strong>kepada RM1.98 trilion. Eksport naik <strong>3.9 peratus<\/strong> kepada RM1.03 trilion, manakala import bertambah <strong>3.6 peratus<\/strong> kepada RM945.62 bilion, sekali gus menjana <strong>lebihan dagangan sebanyak RM86.07 bilion<\/strong>.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bagi bulan Ogos sahaja, jumlah dagangan merosot sedikit sebanyak <strong>1.9 peratus<\/strong>kepada RM247.07 bilion. Namun, eksport kekal positif untuk dua bulan berturut-turut dengan peningkatan <strong>1.9 peratus<\/strong> kepada RM131.6 bilion, manakala import menyusut <strong>5.9 peratus<\/strong> kepada RM115.47 bilion. Ini menghasilkan lebihan dagangan <strong>RM16.13 bilion<\/strong>, lonjakan besar <strong>153.8 peratus<\/strong>berbanding Ogos 2024, serta menandakan bulan ke-64 berturut-turut Malaysia mencatat lebihan sejak Mei 2020.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MITI menjelaskan pertumbuhan eksport didorong oleh prestasi kukuh barangan perkilangan dan keluaran pertanian, khususnya minyak sawit dan produk berasaskan sawit.
