KUALA LUMPUR: FashionValet founders Datin Vivy Yusof, 37, and Datuk Fadzarudin Shah Anuar, 36, pleaded not guilty to charges of misappropriating RM8 million in investment funds from Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB).
The couple appeared before Judge Rosli Ahmad and denied the allegations, requesting a trial. They are accused of dishonestly misusing the funds at Public Bank Berhad’s Bukit Damansara branch on August 21, 2018.
Charged under Section 403 of the Penal Code, read with Section 34, they face imprisonment of six months to five years, caning, and a fine if convicted. The high-profile case has drawn significant public attention due to the involvement of prominent corporate figures.
