PUTRAJAYA: The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) has opened its Foreign Taxpayer Branch (CPCA) at Block 8, Kompleks Kerajaan, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kuala Lumpur, effective January 1.
In a statement on Friday (Jan 17), LHDN announced that the branch operates Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with e-appointment sessions available from 8am to 4.40pm, bookable via https://ejanjitemu.hasil.gov.my.
The CPCA now manages tax matters for foreign taxpayers, non-residents, and withholding taxes previously handled by offices in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Selangor.
LHDN stated that the CPCA will also address cases involving non-resident entertainers, foreign crews, and international visitors. The centralization aims to reduce tax leakage, enhance collection efficiency, and streamline operations, ensuring better service for taxpayers.
This move highlights LHDN’s dedication to improving tax administration and compliance in key areas.
